By continuing access to this website maintained by Global Citizen Pte Ltd UEN No. 201543764E, a company incorporated in the Republic of Singapore (“The Global Citizen”), which includes its subsidiary companies, you have acknowledged that you have read, understood, consented and agreed to be bound by the following Terms of Use (“Terms of Use”). This Terms of Use as well as the conditions found in it, are legally binding.

 

The Global Citizen reserves the right to modify our Terms of Use. We will of course notify users of such changes through announcements made through our Newsroom which can be accessed here. This channel of communication provides our users with sufficient notice, as well as opportunity to familiarize themselves with our Terms of Use.

 

We also reserve the right to terminate your access to our website, mobile applications and/or other digital media such as social media channels (collectively known as “Media”), without advance notice should you violate our Terms of Use.

All content found on our Media such as but not limited to text, marks, logos, diagrams, photographs, videos, music, design, know-how, best practices, technologies, educational products and services are the property of The Global Citizen, and are used with the authorization of owners and are purchased and/or protected by copyright, trademarks and all other intellectual property rights that exist under the applicable laws.

Except where expressly provided for, nothing found on our Media or in any part of this Terms of Use, shall be interpreted as granting a user the license or right to use any such content of the Media.   3. The Global Citizen strives to also limit and where possible, cease the infringement of copyright and/or intellectual property reported to us. We have done our best to ensure that such violations do not occur, but also seek your understanding and cooperation in also notifying us of any such infringement by emailing us at contact@theglobalcitizen.sg. We will thereafter conduct the appropriate investigations and agree to undertake at our discretion, the relevant action including but not limited removing the material from our website.

    Use of Media

Users may download, display or print the content found on the Media for persona, non-commercial use only, thereby retaining and reproducing each and every copyright notice or other proprietary rights notice contained in any information or material downloaded. Any other use including modification and/or distribution etc. in whole or in part, is strictly prohibited, except upon obtaining prior written consent from The Global Citizen.

However, users hereby grant permission to The Global Citizen to use, adapt and modify any and all of the ideas, concepts, know-how, comments, suggestions and/or other communication provided via our Media without right to payment, and waive any rights and claims to such content voluntarily provided.

The Global Citizen is not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damage, injury to reputation, costs or loss, decrease in turnover or profits that arise as a result of you accessing and using our Media.

In fact, as a Singapore based learning provider, most of our educational products and/or services are offered in Singapore except where special arrangements have been made for us to conduct these products, services and/or programs overseas.   15. As a social enterprise, The Global Citizen is very pleased to, from time to time, offer exclusive promotions directly to users, these offers are limited to the attached terms and conditions and are not valid beyond their stated period of validity.

These partnerships however are subject to separate terms and conditions outlined in their respective agreements.   18. As a learning provider which prides itself on a diverse and multilingual team, The Global Citizen is proud to offer translations of this Policy in languages other than English. However, in the unlikely event of inconsistencies between English and other versions of this Terms of Use, the English version shall always prevail.

  19. The headings provided for in this Terms of Use are for the purposes of convenience and should not alter or change the terms and conditions in any manner.

    Any Other Business

In the unlikely event that a provision found in this Terms of Use is found to be contrary to law or in contradiction with a statute, regulation or industry practice, the provision may be considered stricken however all other provisions remain intact, and in effect between the user and The Global Citizen.

Further, wherein instances that The Global Citizen tolerates the violation of any of the provisions found in this Terms of Use, such tolerance is not to be construed as the granting of permission nor a waiver of our rights. We may at our discretion choose to enforce the provision in question.
